Homemade Baby Formula Recipes (with a Vegetarian option)

Hands-down breast milk is the best for babies. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends babies should be exclusively breast-fed up for the first 6 months, followed by breastfeeding in combination with the introduction of complementary foods until at least 12 months of age. Breast milk is fantastic for brain development and intelligence, reducing allergies, reducing the risk of SIDS, reducing the likelihood of obesity, and it can help mom get back into shape easier and quicker and also help her fight some forms of cancer

However, if there ever comes a time when baby is not able to get breast milk, homemade baby formula is the best alternative. It is by far superior than what you’ll find at the supermarket due to the prevalence of commercial formulas containing GMO’s, soy, shelf-life stabilizers & food dyes. These formulas are packed full of nutrients every baby needs to develop and grow.

Again, these homemade baby formulas are not meant to replace breast milk – only if breast milk is unavailable.
