You may not like me for telling you this but most house (plain) margaritas whop in at approximately 700 calories. (Whaaaat? I know!)

This Skinny Strawberry Margarita recipe weighs in at about 198 calories and oh. my. gracious is it good! Even if you’re not a margarita person (like me) it’s hard not to resist. Plus without the guilt it tastes even better!

Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 cups strawberries, fresh or frozen (no sugar added)
  • 2 1/2 cups crushed ice
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup Stevia powder
  • 3 tablespoons Cointreau (orange-flavored liqueur)
  • Lime wedges (optional)

 

Instructions:

Combine strawberries, ice, tequila, lime juice, Stevia, and liqueur in a blender, and process until the mixture is smooth. Pour the margaritas into 4 large glasses. Garnish margaritas with a lime wedge, if desired. Enjoy immediately.
