The FIT (Food Inflammation Test) measures foods, colors, and additives (including Candida) for IgG 1-4 and C3d complement. The multi-pathway testing measures an inflammatory pathway instead of IgG alone, which helps to eliminate false positives that occur with traditional IgG testing. Each sample is run with 15 standards and controls.

Now included with FIT 176 & FIT 132 are Zonulin / Occulin (advanced GI permeability) levels + Candida levels.

FIT 176: The FIT 176 wholesale price is $375 and includes the following:

  • A color-based report that is easy to read and engaging for patients
  • A 7-day rotational meal plan that is created specific to each patient. This is a great if an elimination diet is needed

Zonulin / Occulin (Leaky Gut Indicator) measures the permeability of the intestinal wall. Elevated Zonulin and Occulin levels indicate the presence of leaky gut, which prevents the intestines from functioning properly. If left untreated, elevated Zonulin & Occulin can lead to various diseases including Autoimmune Disease, Celiac Disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis and IBS. It is a reversible protein so ideal to use for both baselining and retesting patients

Insurance Info

The CPT Code for this test is 86160. It is the client’s responsibility to find out if their insurance covers the cost of the test before testing. After testing is complete, Crystal Chester RD will provide the insurance reimbursement form for the client to submit/mail to their insurance carrier.
